A story worth telling
The beginning
Linjemontage was founded in Grästorp in 1993 by Henrik Höglund. That same year, the company secured its very first contract in operations and maintenance, taking responsibility for Grästorp Energi’s electricity network.
Linjemontage enters the industrial sector
Just one year after its founding, Linjemontage secured its first industrial project with a substation delivery for Volvo Powertrain’s factory in Skövde.

We reach 100 employees!
In 2011, Linjemontage celebrates the milestone of reaching a three-digit number of employees across Sweden. We also secure our first contract for a 145 kV transmission line.
New majority owners
In 2019, the Indian company Kalpataru acquired an 85% majority stake as the new owner. It is a global leader in power transmission and infrastructure. That same year, we secured our first major project with Svenska Kraftnät.
The billion mark is surpassed!
In 2020, Linjemontage finally surpasses the billion mark in revenue. This is the result of hard work and dedication from every employee, as well as high-quality and safe project deliveries.
Kalpataru becomes the sole owner
After 30 years, Linjemontage’s founder, Henrik Höglund, chooses to sell his share in the company to Kalpataru Power Transmission, which then becomes the sole owner.
Linjemontage reaches over 400 employees!
